Little Hereford Voices was formed in 2011 by John Turrell, as a way of serving the community with music. Since then, the choir have come on in leaps and bounds. Now, under the direction of Kimee Cleaton, they are continuing to reap the benefits of community singing.
See below for more information about some key players in the choir.
Kimee Cleaton - Musical Director
Kimee is a choir director, music teacher, performer and published composer who lives in Shropshire with her husband and three children. She took on the choir in September 2016 and enjoys leading them very much. She also conducts two other choirs (Craven Arms Men's Chorus and Halfway House Ladies' Choir) as well as being an organist for St. Laurence's Church in Church Stretton, plus teaching privately from home and in Shropshire schools and colleges for Shropshire Music Service. Her published works include two woodwind pieces on the Trinity College London syllabus, and she has had several of her choral works performed in Shropshire and Herefordshire.
Catharine Boyd-Moss – Accompanist
Catharine began as our accompanist in September 2018. She is a lady of much experience, having played for choirs and churches for many years. She is a valuable asset to the choir and we are very grateful to have her with us.
