After a successful joint concert last year, Shrewsbury Theatre Singers (STS) and Little Hereford Voices (LHV) are returning to Church Stretton this June for another brilliant joint concert of varied vocal music, this time in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance.

Based in Shrewsbury and Little Hereford respectively, Church Stretton is the perfect halfway point for these two choirs, united by the same musical director – local musician Kimee Cleaton – to come together to sing. With a focus on musical theatre, this time you will enjoy music from the Sound of Music, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Kiss Me Kate, Guys and Dolls, Matilda, and more. There will also be a variety of other familiar melodies, including pop songs such as California Dreamin’, Cry Me a River, and Love is All Around, as well as a gorgeous arrangement of the really beautiful and haunting Irish folk tune, Carrickfergus.
